how you can help

The Armchair Activist can use your help in a number of ways. If you can assist in one, two, or all of the various ways, we would be most grateful. And you'll be sure you're doing your part to keep the site going and to help make a better life for us and for your kids, my kids... for all the world's children.

  • Join the Armchair Activist e-list (regular strength or digest version, if you can't deal with multiple mails), which offers more opportunities for progressive activism along with pertinent news items. Once you've joined, please consider promoting the list on your own Web site. Click on the "Promote" link on the Armact Yahoogroups page for the simple instructions.

  • Consider making a donation to help keep the Armchair Activist effort afloat. Your contribution goes directly toward server space and maintenance, research, and organizational expenses, as well as the occasional emergency donation to a human-rights effort (which will be well publicized via the site). When contributing, please include your address if you'd like to receive an "Ain't No Time to Hate" Deadhead diversity-themed sticker. (NOTE: Because the Armchair Activist is involved in political advocacy, contributions are not tax-deductible.) Thanks in advance; click one of the PayPal graphics below to make your contribution to the Armchair Activist/AF&O.

  • Webmaster? Help promote the Armchair Activist/AF&O effort so, together, we can recruit others to join us in working for a better, fairer, cleaner world. Please save the Armact banner below and place it in your Web directory and on your site. Link the banner to http://gratefuldread.net/ or just use the HTML code that follows. (And consider making the Alert of the Day part of your own site! You'll find more banners and such via this link too.)
